Marhaba all, and ahlan wa sahlan to our little blog experiment!

Since we are going to be overseas and potentially even more disconnected from our loved ones than before, we figured that we would create a home base for all those who want to check in on us, see pretty pictures of Lebanon (and wherever else we travel: *teaser* Cyprus is up next!), or merely allow the flocks of Tamara and Tylor aficionados out there to get their fix without having to shell out several dollars a minute to hear our voices.

If you're lucky, we'll even post some videos of ourselves so you can hear our accents shift to some comical sounding hybrid of Arizonan, Minnesotan, British, Lebanese, and whatever else it melds into. But don't get spoiled.

Here is our promise: if at all possible, barring salmonella poisoning, snakebite, Israeli bombing, civil war, internet blackout, malaria, bear attack, dysentery, accidental shooting, creeping crud, flesh eating bacteria infection, surprise incarceration, thesis and dissertation writings, final exams, earthquakes, and tiger attack, we will update this thing at least once a week.

If you want emails telling you when it's updated, just subscribe and you'll be connected. You'll get a little taste of Tam and a little taste of Tylor (sorry about the alliteration), which, though pungent at times, should be something to savor.
