After encountering many problematic issues with Motime, we decided to switch over to Blogspot. We managed to move all of our posts over to this new blog, please excuse the obviously wrong post dates and make sure to update our new blog address!
Due to some unforseen complications, we were able to jettison our initial plans to marry in Cyprus, and tied the knot in Tucson. Call it laziness, call it taking advantage of a convenient situation, but we managed to get our paperwork filed in an afternoon and got drinks and a nice hotel stay out of it, so in our minds, we came out ahead. (Many thanks to Vicki and Jeff for witnessing it, in spite of her bizarre illness and potential contagiousness). While our friends and Tylor's Iraqis likely hate us for getting married without telling them, the courtroom was rather cramped as it was, so the cozy ceremony was actually rather convenient. We still love everyone, but you'll have to wait until later to celebrate our nuptials. We'd promise it'll be worth the wait, but to enjoy it you might have to enjoy tres leches cake and our salty personalities. Stay tuned for more on this...
